Chamber Pension Plan Net Asset Value (NAV) Update – March 2026

  • 2 min read

The Chamber Pension Plan is pleased to share the latest Net Asset Value (NAV) update as at 31 March 2026, providing members with a snapshot of how each Lifecycle Fund is performing.

As a reminder, the NAV represents the per-unit value of each fund and is calculated at the end of each month. It reflects the underlying performance of the investments held within each fund and directly impacts the value of members’ retirement savings.

This month’s update continues to reflect a consistent pattern across Lifecycle Funds. Funds with longer investment horizons—such as the 2050 and 2060 Funds—have delivered stronger one-year performance. This is expected, as these funds typically hold a higher allocation to growth-oriented assets, which can offer higher returns over time, albeit with increased short-term fluctuations.

Conversely, more conservative funds, such as the Income Conservative Fund, show more modest growth, aligning with their objective of preserving capital while still generating steady returns.

Why This Matters for Members

Each member’s pension contributions are automatically invested into a Lifecycle Fund based on their age and expected retirement timeline. Over time, the investment mix adjusts to balance growth and risk as retirement approaches.

The monthly NAV is therefore an important indicator of how your pension savings are progressing. While short-term performance may vary, the Plan is designed to support long-term financial security through disciplined, diversified investing.

A Long-Term Perspective

It is important to view NAV updates within the context of long-term retirement planning. Market conditions can change, but maintaining consistent contributions and allowing investments time to grow remains one of the most effective strategies for building retirement income.

The Chamber Pension Plan remains committed to prudent investment management, low costs, and delivering value to members across all stages of their retirement journey.
