Chamber Pension Plan Net Asset Value (NAV) Update – August 2026
The Chamber Pension Plan is pleased to share the latest NAV update as at August 31, 2026, providing members with a snapshot of how each Lifecycle Fund is performing.
NAV, or net asset value, represents the per-unit value of each fund. It is calculated at the end of each month, reflects the underlying investment performance of the Plan’s assets, and directly influences the value of members’ retirement savings over time.
As at month-end, the figures continue to reflect the different investment approaches used across the Lifecycle range. Funds with longer time horizons, such as the 2050 and 2060 options, typically show stronger one-year performance because they maintain a higher allocation to growth-oriented assets. That structure can support higher potential returns, although it also means members may experience more short-term fluctuation.
By contrast, more conservative options, including the Income Conservative Fund, are designed with a greater emphasis on capital preservation and steadier movement. These funds generally deliver more modest growth, which is consistent with their lower-risk profile.
Why This Matters for Members
Each member’s contributions are automatically invested into a Lifecycle Fund based on age and expected retirement timeline. Over time, the investment mix adjusts to balance growth and risk as retirement approaches. The monthly NAV is an important indicator of progress, and the Plan is structured to support long-term financial security through disciplined, diversified investing.
The Chamber Pension Plan remains committed to prudent investment management, low costs, and delivering value across all stages of the retirement journey. For more information or to review your pension statement, please contact the Administrator’s Agent or visit www.chamberpension.ky.
